Church Submission Form

NOTE: The word "church" is used as a generic name in this submission form meaning any place of holy worship; it could mean Synagogue, Mosque, Temple, etc. Submission from all religions are welcome. The only qualification for submission is that it must be physically located within Fairfax county.

To see a sample of what to include in each of the below categories, look at the first entry on the church website (or just click on the highlighted name, Falls Church Presbyterian Church) for examples of the text to include in your own submission.

Directions (how to get there): (you may enter as many different sets of directions you wish to allow people from within Fairfax county to get to you)

Description of people: (what mix of people are in your church, e.g., middle age; older congregation; young people, mix of all ages)

Description of church: (what your physical church is like, e.g., old flagstone, modern brick, big music organ inside, big fellowship hall)

Committees: (this is what the organizational structure that makes up your church, e.g., building and grounds, christian education, fellowship, finance, mission and social concerns)

Organizations: (this is what people may participate in beyond the normal church service/sunday school activities on a regular basis throughout the year, e.g., youth fellowship, Presbyterian women (5 circles), men's breakfast group, youth choir, adult choir)

Activities: (these are usually one time events that are organized by the church for church members to participate in, e.g., spring food drive, fall food drive, Habitat for Humanity, Elizabeth project, Christmas in april, book fair, church picnic, summer bible school, prison ministery)

   Worship hours: (exclude Sunday school hours which is included in the next item)

      Church web site: (optional; we'll put it in as a link to the church's web site)
   Church email: (optional; this is where people can contact the church for more information)
Your E-Mail address: (optional; enter your email address if you want people to contact you if there are additions or changes to the chruch entry; they can also directly requst changes without going through you. we just accept changes as requested from anyone (some editing decisions can be further investigated if we determine that an edit might be either erroneous or misplaced)
