I have had MANY nice experiences at the Meineke Discount Muffler & Brake Shop at 9881 Lee Highway (on Rt. 50 across the street from PJ Skidoo's.) I have a "fleet" of 3 older cars and am in constant need of brake and muffler repair. I usually get to deal with the head honcho, Chris Schmitz. I get a complete and accurate estimate before any work begins. He often tells me I need LESS work than I thought I would when I came in. Sometimes, all I need is a minor adjustment of some kind, and those are done at no charge while I wait. Never once has anyone there talked down to me or acted like I couldn't understand what's wrong with my car because I'm female. I send my elderly mother there for repairs with no qualms at all.
I highly recommend the services of Larry Hodge, piano tuner. I have been using him for years. He does an excellent job, and he is always on time for appointments. He is willing to come on evenings and weekends. He charges a fair price but gives value and quality for the money, and he does good work.
