Air temperature is the average high and low daily temperatures during the month.
As water temperatures change little during a day, the water temperature value is calculated as the average of the day's water temperature throughout the month.
Rainfall can vary considerably depending on where you are located and the time of the year. For example, during the summer months, it is typical that most days, Marsh Harbour might experience heavy afternoon showers and thunderstorms for several hours with clouds raising to 35,000' while 2-1/2 miles away on Elbow Cay there might be not a drop of rain and it might be bright and sunny all day with not a cloud in the sky (above Elbow Cay). Also, during January/February, there might be a winter front coming from Florida that produces an overcast day (or days) with a light rain or drizzle whereas in the summer, you might have a thunderstorm that produces very heavy (a sheet of) rain for 20-30 minutes (usually in the afternoon) then be bright and clear all the rest of the day.
