I understand that OCTAGON, the house, buildings, and land/gardens, is the private personal property of Sally Storr and family, and that it is available for rental when not occupied by the Storrs. I also understand that the information I received with this agreement, identified with the same date as is printed above, describing the house, property, rental fee, etc. establish the conditions for rental.
Having read the information regarding the house and property known as OCTAGON located on Elbow Cay, Abaco Island, Bahamas, and understanding the owner's personal concern for said property, I do hereby agree to respect said property and to assume responsibility for all damage/loss caused by myself and/or my party. Any and all damages shall be reported immediately to Mrs. Storr, and any applicable charges shall be withheld from damage deposit by Mrs. Storr. In the event that cost of damages exceeds the amount of deposit, additional amounts shall be payable directly to Mrs. Storr who shall arrange for repair or replacement.
A reservation deposit of $200 is required. This reservation deposit becomes a breakage deposit at the start of your stay and is refundable within 45 days after end of stay assuming there is no damage to the house or contents. I understand that this deposit will reserve OCTAGON for the dates requested, and this depends on the Octagon availability. In addition to the $200 reservation deposit, the full rental amount shall be made at least 45 days prior to dates reserved. I understand the cancellation/refund policy is as follows: a full refund will be made of all monies received if cancellation is received at least 60 days prior to rental period, or after 60 days, anytime we are able to obtain another rental during the dates you had reserved. Any nonrefundable amounts can be applied to a future Octagon rental within 1 year of your original rental date. Personal checks as well as credit cards are acceptable for payment. If you are sending a personal check, we will hold your reservation for 7 days from date of receipt of this email reservation form to allow us time to receive your check by mail. Confirmation of receipt of this reservation form will be sent via email upon our receipt of this form.
I further understand a letter of confirmation of rental dates and amounts received will be sent to me as soon as deposit and/or rental fee are received by Mrs. Storr, and that these receipts should accompany me to the Bahamas to be shown, if requested, to the caretaker upon arrival.
Rates
No peak season increases -- rates are the same all times of the year, however, there will probably be discount areas posted on our calendar, so please reference our calendar for these discounts. For example, in the past, we have offer discounts for rentals in September and/or October.
All times are calculated based upon the number of nights you will be staying at Octagon, e.g., if you arrive on the afternoon of October 12 and leave the morning of October 15, you will be there for 4 days, but your stay will be charged for a total number of 3 nights.
Recommended length of stay: 9-10 days. Rates quoted are for 1-4 persons, i.e., 1, 2, 3, or 4 persons stay 1 week (7 nights) for the total amount of $1000.

Children 2 years old or under at time reservation is made: free.
Maximum number of persons: 6 (5 beds + 1 cot)
Check-in: 2pm or later; Check-out: 10am. Extended check-in and/or check-out times available at no additional cost BUT must be confirmed as OK with the caretaker prior to start of your stay.
Check-in or check-out allowed any day of the week.
